FROGGY

Froggy – A Floating Frog Lure for Pike

The floating frog lure Froggy is designed for surface fishing for predatory fish. Its floating material keeps the lure close to the surface. Its ultra-realistic body imitates a real frog. Froggy is therefore an excellent choice when pike are hunting in shallow water.

With a few movements of the rod tip, Froggy’s legs come to life. They imitate the natural movements of a frog in the water. This simple action creates a realistic presentation. You can also vary the retrieve with short pulls and pauses.

A Frog Lure for Heavy Cover

Froggy is rigged with a reinforced pre-weighted Texas hook. This setup allows you to quickly cover difficult areas. You can therefore fish over lily pads, through weed beds and around dense vegetation.

The Texas rig also helps reduce the risk of snags. The floating frog lure can move through areas where other lures are more difficult to use. It is therefore particularly suitable for fishing around heavy cover.

A Floating Frog with a Natural Surface Action

The floating material allows Froggy to stay close to the surface. You can leave the lure motionless between two retrieves. This pause gives pike time to approach and attack the lure.

Then, a few rod-tip movements activate the legs again. They create small movements on the surface. This action is especially useful when fishing along weed edges, lily pads and other shallow areas.

Two Sizes for Different Fishing Conditions

Froggy is available in two sizes. You can therefore choose the right model for the conditions and the size of the prey.

• 8 cm – 1 g (16 g total weight)
• 14 cm – 3 g (43 g total weight)

The 8 cm version offers a more compact profile. It is suitable when predators are feeding on smaller prey. The 14 cm version provides a larger silhouette. It is therefore useful when you want to offer a bigger target.
