Flying Fish Tuna

The Flying Fish Tuna 4X was specifically developed for tuna feeding frenzies. Its compact and aerodynamic profile allows for long casts, making it easier to reach actively feeding fish at a distance.

A tuna lure designed for feeding frenzies

The Flying Fish Tuna is designed to meet the demands of tuna fishing during feeding frenzies. Its profile allows for long casts and fast retrieves. This combination is particularly effective when tuna are chasing small baitfish.

Thanks to its hydrodynamic design, the lure maintains a stable action at high speed. It can therefore be worked with a fast linear retrieve to trigger strikes from actively feeding tuna.

Side fins for a stable action

The Flying Fish Tuna features side fins that improve the lure’s stability. They help maintain a regular trajectory during the retrieve.

In addition, the fins contribute to a smooth swimming action. The lure therefore imitates the movements of a small baitfish fleeing from a predator.

A reinforced 4X jighead

To withstand the high loads associated with tuna fishing, the Flying Fish Tuna is equipped with a reinforced 4X jighead. Its hook is designed to withstand powerful fights with large fish, with a stated resistance of more than 250 kg at the opening.

This reinforced construction provides additional security during fights. It also allows the lure to be used repeatedly in the demanding conditions of tuna fishing.

Two sizes and two weights

• 9 cm – 28 g: a compact profile designed to imitate small baitfish while providing long casting distance.
• 9 cm – 35 g: additional weight for greater casting distance and more demanding conditions.
• 11 cm – 28 g: a larger profile for situations where tuna are feeding on bigger baitfish.
• 11 cm – 35 g: a combination of profile, casting distance and versatility in tougher conditions.

Thanks to these two sizes and two weights, the Flying Fish Tuna adapts to different fishing situations. The choice depends in particular on the size of the available baitfish and the distance that needs to be reached.

A tuna lure for long-distance casting

The Flying Fish Tuna 4X combines an aerodynamic profile, a stable swimming action and a reinforced construction. It is designed for anglers targeting tuna during feeding frenzies when actively feeding fish can be far from the boat.

Its 4X construction combines long casting distance, fast retrieves and strength. The Flying Fish Tuna is therefore designed for situations where every cast counts.
