Scarabait: an insect lure for trout and chub

The Scarabait is a trout insect lure designed to imitate a small insect or aquatic invertebrate. It is especially effective for trout and chub, particularly when fish are feeding on insects and small invertebrates.

Its compact shape gives it a slow, controlled and gliding fall. This natural presentation helps you fish an area without disturbing cautious fish. In addition, its four vibrating legs stay active with even the slightest movement.

A lure designed to rest on the bottom

The Scarabait works best with very little movement. Unlike a standard soft lure, it should not be swum. Instead, let it rest on the bottom to imitate the natural behavior of a larva or small invertebrate that fish find close to the ground.

Even when it is resting, its four vibrating legs create subtle movement with the slightest tension on the line. Therefore, it can trigger fish that ignore standard baitfish imitations.

Micro jighead or Drop Shot rig

The Scarabait can be rigged on a micro jighead or used with a Drop Shot rig. These setups allow you to present the lure accurately while keeping the action subtle and natural.
