Craw Jig

Description

Craw Jig Bass Craw 10 g: a ready-to-fish rig

The Craw Jig features the large Bass Craw in a rigged and ready-to-fish version. This setup combines a 10 g black Zamak football head with a silicone skirt. The combination adds volume to the lure and keeps the skirt moving during pauses.

This craw jig is particularly effective for bottom fishing. Its football head allows it to rest in a stable position. It also provides a natural presentation of the Craw, with the claws slightly raised.

A football head for a natural presentation

The shape of the football head plays an important role in the lure’s presentation. Once resting on the bottom, the Craw Jig maintains a natural position. The Bass Craw’s claws rise slightly. The lure therefore imitates a crayfish in a defensive position.

This presentation is particularly suited to slow fishing. Let the rig rest on the bottom, then give it a small lift with the rod. The lure moves a short distance before settling back down.

A silicone skirt that stays active

The silicone skirt increases the volume of the rig and adds extra movement. Its strands remain active during the retrieve. They also continue to move when the craw jig is resting on the bottom.

This action maintains attraction during pauses. As a result, anglers can slow the presentation considerably when fish are cautious or less active.

In addition, the skirt colors are matched to the Bass Craw colors. The rig therefore maintains a consistent appearance between the head, skirt and soft lure.

A craw jig designed for bottom fishing

With its 10 g weight, the Craw Jig provides a strong presence on the bottom. It can be used to target predators around structures and areas where fish find easy prey.

For a simple presentation, cast the lure and let it reach the bottom. Then use small rod-tip movements to lift it. Let the rig settle again. This combination of movement and pauses makes full use of the Bass Craw’s natural presentation.

A crayfish imitation for freshwater predators

The Bass Craw provides a realistic profile and moving claws. Combined with the football head and silicone skirt, it creates a compact and voluminous craw jig.

This rig is particularly suited to fishing for black bass, perch and zander. Its bottom-oriented presentation can also be used to explore areas where predators search for easy prey.
