🐾 Froggy 2026: The new floating material frog

The 2026 season arrives with a major addition to our tackle boxes: the Froggy. For this perfect frog imitation made of floating material, we sought the ideal balance between extreme suppleness and a naturally buoyant material (without air injection).

The goal is simple: to offer you a frog capable of going anywhere thanks to its brand new floating material.

Three soft frog lures (dark green, brown, and neon green) with articulated legs, placed on tree bark in front of a river.

Why choose this innovative floating material?

  • Self-floating density: It is not trapped air that ensures its position, but the very structure of its floating material. Even after several pike strikes and punctures, the lure’s physical properties remain intact.
  • Better hook sets: Because this material is extremely soft, it collapses easily during the strike. This clears the offset hook instantly to hook the fish with precision.
  • A natural presentation: Its specific density allows it to sit on the water with great realism, perfectly mimicking a real amphibian.

The Froggy: the ideal lure for heavy cover

Thanks to its Offset Hook, the Froggy is the perfect tool for pike fishing where other lures get snagged:

  1. On lily pads: It slides over the leaves without getting stuck.
  2. In dense grass beds: It passes over weeds without picking up “salad.”
  3. During pauses: Its static position is ultra-natural, which often triggers strikes from Black Bass and Pike.

đŸ› ïž Fred Lebaron’s Tip: Go even further

While the Froggy is made for the surface, our ambassador Fred Lebaron pushed the field tests from France to the Netherlands. He discovered that this perfect floating frog imitation reacts very well when you decide to weight it slightly.

“The Froggy isn’t just a surface lure; it’s an incredible foundation for fooling wary fish.”

In his full article, Fred explains:

  • How adding a small weight allows it to sink slowly.
  • His tips for fishing just below the surface (sub-surface).
  • His comparison between the large and small models.
