Description
PIKAT GRUB – A massive lure designed for catfish
The Pikat Grub is a soft lure specially developed for targeting catfish with a cast-and-retrieve technique. Its imposing profile and highly pronounced swimming action make it ideal for targeting fish looking for a large and easily detectable prey.
With its massive, heavily ribbed body, the Pikat Grub offers an imposing silhouette while generating numerous vibrations during the retrieve.
Its main feature is its large comma-shaped tail, topped with a thinner membrane. This design allows the tail to start moving with the slightest oscillation and produce a wide, highly attractive swimming action, even during slow retrieves.
Controlled descent
The underside of the lure has been deliberately designed with a flat surface. This shape increases water resistance and helps to slow down the lure’s descent, providing better control over its presentation in the water column.
This feature also allows the lure to remain active in the fishing zone for longer during the descent phases.
Designed for reinforced rigs
Due to its size and intended use, the Pikat Grub can be rigged with a size 8/0 single hook, particularly with a triple rig or a reinforced jig head.
Its design allows it to be adapted to different catfish fishing techniques while maintaining an effective presentation and an attractive swimming action.
