SOSY – An articulated lure for pike and black bass

The Sosy is an articulated pike and black bass lure specially designed for targeting pike and black bass. It is mainly used with a linear retrieve.

Thanks to its segmented body, the Sosy produces an articulated and sinusoidal swimming action. It reproduces the natural movements of a fish in motion. Its shape has been carefully designed to create a smooth and realistic action, even during slow retrieves.

Its treble-hook rig, combined with forward weighting and head weighting, provides excellent balance. The lure therefore maintains a natural swimming action throughout the retrieve.

An action that adapts to different depths

The Sosy starts working from 30 cm deep. It can therefore be used in the upper part of the water column, especially close to the surface.

Its swimming depth also changes according to the retrieve speed:

• Fast retrieve: the Sosy rises and swims close to the surface.
• Slow retrieve: it gradually sinks deeper into the water column.

In addition, a clip-on weight can be added to adjust the swimming depth and adapt the lure to the fishing conditions.

A new generation of the Sosy concept

With this new version, Delalande continues to develop and innovate around the Sosy concept.

Compared with the previous Sosy version from the early 21st century, the diving lip has been removed. It tended to slow down the swimming action and limit the lure’s freedom of movement.

This new design gives the Sosy a smoother, freer and more natural action. The lure creates a more subtle presentation in the water. It can therefore be particularly effective in areas exposed to heavy fishing pressure.

The pike and black bass lure Sosy is available in a wide range of colors. This allows anglers to adapt their choice to light levels, water clarity and fish activity.
