SPEEDIX

SPEEDIX – Compact asp lure with powerful performance

The Speedix is an asp lure with a blade, designed for targeting asp and perch with fast presentations. It is particularly effective for fast linear retrieves, trolling and cast-and-retrieve fishing. Despite its small size, the Speedix is heavy and features a reinforced setup. It allows anglers to quickly search different water layers while reaching active fish and distant feeding areas.

A compact asp lure with excellent casting distance

The Speedix features an ultra-compact and dense body that provides excellent casting performance. Its high density allows anglers to cast long distances while maintaining good accuracy. This is particularly useful when asp are feeding far from the bank. In addition, its streamlined weighted head improves water penetration. The Speedix can therefore be fished quickly and efficiently at depths of around 6 to 8 metres, depending on the conditions, retrieve speed and tackle used. A vertical bar integrated into the lure design also contributes to its compact construction and distinctive profile.

An ultra-active Colorado blade

The Speedix asp lure is equipped with a Colorado blade. This blade shape starts spinning quickly and is particularly well suited to fast retrieves. It is mounted on a Ball Bearing swivel, providing smooth and consistent rotation from the beginning of the retrieve. The Speedix immediately produces strong vibrations, even when fished at high speed. This high level of activity is particularly effective for asp, a predator that often attacks fast-moving lures.

A reinforced setup to reduce missed strikes

The Speedix is also a heavily armed lure. It combines a treble hook and a single hook to increase hooking opportunities during strikes. This setup is particularly useful when fish attack a small lure at high speed. Its compact profile, heavy weight and reinforced hook setup make it an excellent choice for active predators and fast feeding situations.
