SPEEDIX

SPEEDIX – Small profile, big fishing power

The Speedix is a small blade lure specially designed for targeting asp and perch, and is particularly effective for fast linear retrieves, trolling and cast-and-retrieve fishing. Despite its compact size, the Speedix is a heavy and heavily armed lure, designed to quickly reach active fish and efficiently cover different depths of the water column.

A concentrate of power in a compact profile

Its ultra-compact and dense body provides excellent casting performance. Its high density makes it easy to reach long distances while maintaining good accuracy, even when fish are holding far from the bank. Its streamlined weighted head improves water penetration and allows the Speedix to fish quickly and efficiently at depth, down to approximately 6 to 8 metres depending on conditions, retrieve speed and tackle used. A vertical bar integrated into the lure’s design reinforces its identity and contributes to its compact construction.

An ultra-active Colorado blade

The Speedix is fitted with a Colorado blade, a shape particularly suited to fast retrieves thanks to its ability to start spinning quickly. Mounted on a ball-bearing swivel, the blade rotates smoothly and consistently, allowing the lure to produce vibrations immediately during the retrieve. This high level of activity is particularly effective when targeting asp, especially during fast retrieves where the lure needs to maintain an attractive action despite the high speed.

A “super-armed” lure

To reduce missed strikes, the Speedix features a reinforced hook setup combining a treble hook and a single hook. This configuration increases the chances of hooking fish during attacks, particularly when fish strike a small lure at high speed. Its compact volume, high weight and reinforced hook setup make it particularly well suited to fast-feeding predatory fish. Speedix: a small, heavy, compact and super-armed lure, designed to fish fast, far and deep.
